Owen Tracy, an emigrant from Ireland - married Theulah Willard - settled in Acworth 1787. The immigrants named Derry Hill in memory of their old home in Londonderry, NH and Owen Tracy gave his name to the Tracy district on Coffin Hill.

9 Feb 1786, William Mitchell of Acworth, yeoman and administrator of of the estate of John Rimmack, late of same place deceased, sells 70 acres there to Owen Tracy of Londonderry; recorded 19 Dec. 1787; wit: John Nesmith, John Carlton. (Cheshire Deeds 17: 437) [New Hampshire, USA]
